The restaurant De Blauwe Hollander in Amsterdam
This restaurant is open even in the afternoon and I recommend the traditional split pea soup and the fabulous carrot soup with curry and applesauce.
This last soup is really audacious and the compote at the bottom of the bowl brings the acidity which, along with the curry, compensates for the sweetness of the carrot.
The whole is harmonious and surprising. And at 4€75 it’s really cheap.
Blauwe’s stamppot are really delicious. You have them in the menu of about 20€ which is one of the best value for money in Amsterdam.
